NEWS REPORT: THE Reckoning Wasn't Delayed — It Was Inevitable
By SOUL TRIBE , Correspondent of the Unseen Front
Somewhere Far Off. Not Too Far to Matter. — The laughter came first.
They sat in a circle, these men and women. Full of confidence. Full of cruelty. The kind of confidence that comes when people think no one is watching. When they believe consequences are old wives’ tales, whispered by fools who still fear God.
They had tried their black magic. Their little spells. Tricks and poison words sent behind backs and over thresholds. And they were sure it worked. They laughed at the one they thought was finished.
But the man they laughed at — the one they mocked — wasn’t finished.
He was laughing at them. He stood tall, with dirt on his hands and fire in his lungs. A man who walks with God doesn’t walk alone. And this one had seen it coming — not because he was paranoid, but because he was protected. Because vision walks ahead of those who listen.
And when the laughter died — as all cheap laughter does — the smirks melted off their here faces like ice on a hot barrel.
They begged.
For mercy. For a way out. But mercy is not a button. It's not a spell. It's not guaranteed to the ones who spat on it time and time again. This wasn't karma. This was consequence. Consequence is quiet, but it’s precise. It doesn’t need to shout. It lands clean and fast — like a bullet with a name on it.
The warning had been given — many times. Return what you stole. Turn from the dark. Come back to the light.
But they didn’t listen. Thought they’d win. Thought nothing could touch them.
They never expected the one they mocked would still be standing — stronger, even. Not just in body, but in spirit. The kind of strength you don’t see until it’s too late.
And now they ask, “How did he know?”
God told him. That’s how.
And He’s watching still. Watching all of you.
There’s a kind of foolishness in thinking you can harm a man who hasn’t harmed you — a man who only ever raised his hand to protect himself, never check here to strike first. But that kind of foolishness doesn’t go unpunished forever.
So this is the warning. Maybe the last one.
Turn back. Repent. Drop the stones before they drop on you.
Because the hour is late.
And not even the dark has a friend in God.
